Label Guidelines: How to Design Your Custom Labels

To ensure every label printed at our Epping facility meets the highest possible quality standard, please follow these artwork guidelines before submitting your files.

Add 3mm Bleed

Include a 3mm bleed around all edges of your artwork. This ensures the label is printed and cut cleanly, with no unintended white borders or missing design elements at the edges.

Submit High-Resolution EPS Files

EPS format at 300 DPI is the preferred file type for custom label printing. This guarantees sharp, colour-accurate results across every production run.

 

 Acceptable JPEG Files

If an EPS file is not available, JPEG files are accepted — provided they are a minimum of 300 DPI. Files below this threshold will produce pixelated or blurry output.

 

Choose Your Finish

Select from matte, gloss, or transparent finishes to complement your product’s look. Each finish suits different brand aesthetics — matte for a premium feel, gloss for vibrancy, transparent for a clean, no-label look.
